Hello everybody!

We are entering the final week and we are near the 450% stretch goal that gives some love to the 2 regular decks. Before we write the details, huge welcome to the new backers! In this update we write a quick and clear resume so you all know what happened since the beginning and how the campaign (and the products evolved).

In this update:

•  450% stretch goal (soon to be unlocked): inner tuckbox graphics for RAVN IIII RED and BLUE 
• GIFTS! yes, we assign gifts according to reward tiers. Also, these items can be added.
• All the add-ons
• Campaign resume: a quick resume to get a better overview

450% STRETCH GOAL

Ravn IIII Blue and Red will have printed graphics inside the tuckbox. The design is not identical, so they reveal 2 different cards and have 2 different hands.

GIFTS!

It is time to show extra love to our backers with a couple of extra gifts that you will find in the package.

•  RAVN IIII Ace of Spades vinyl sticker approx 2.2x2.5" (56x63mm)
•  Cardistry pin 1.5x1.2" (30x40mm)

 You can add stickers for +15 SEK each

The gifts are assigned by reward tier and they are written in blue in the following image. You can see all the available rewards and the updated list of items.

 A few IMPORTANT NOTES about the add-ons with special conditions

• Anyone can add max 2 RAVN X LTD decks on top of their pledge for 450SEK each. The Loop reward tier gets one for free, and Sir Ravn the 4th reward tier gets 2 (two) for free. If you are in a reward with split brick you can add it for 350SEK/each instead of 450SEK.  
• Only backers in rewards with split bricks can add more bricks at those add-on prices. 
• All bricks are split-bricks in 4|4|4 configuration and it cannot be customized.

Mid campaign epic release and 350% stretch goal unlocked

Hi all!

First of all, welcome to the new backers and thank you so much for backing! Please take a look at the previous updates and read carefully this one.

In this update:

• Epic release: RAVN X LTD
• A lot of questions answered 
• 350% stretch goal unlocked

Epic release: introducing RAVN X LTD

Me (Lorenzo at Stockholm17) and Caroline decided to offer RAVN X LTD (LTD=Limited), which is a pimped version of RAVN X satisfying in full the requirements of a true collector :)

It is important to understand that RAVN X does not automatically become RAVN X LTD.

Before the details, here is how it will look:

RAVN X LTD features:

• GILDING IN METALLIC RED (as the picture)
• CUSTOM SEAL WITH PROGRESSIVE NUMBER
• 2 SIGNATURES ON THE TUCKBOX (Lorenzo's and Caroline's, on the tuck box, not on the cellophane)

Price:

• 350 SEK/each for backers in rewards with split bricks
• 450 SEK/each for all the others
• FOR FREE to the 2 high tier rewards

Please read further to understand how.

How to get it (MAX 2 per backer):

• ANYBODY CAN ADD IT AT ANY TIME
• ONLY AVAILABLE AS ADD-ON: there is no specific reward tier for this, you can add it on top of your actual pledge.
• LIMITED TO KICKSTARTER BACKERS ONLY. It means that only the quantity ordered in this kickstarter campaign will be produced.
• MAX TWO PER BACKER AS ADD-ON: you can add max two RAVN X LTD.
• ONE FOR FREE TO BACKERS IN THE LOOP REWARD TIER, and they can add max two on top of the pledge for350SEK/each.
• TWO FOR FREE TO BACKERS IN SIR RAVN THE 4th REWARD TIER, and they can add max two on top for 350SEK/each.
• BACKERS IN REWARDS WITH ONE OR MORE BRICKS CAN ADD IT FOR 350 SEK/each NO EXTRA SHIPPING COSTS.
• ALL THE OTHERS CAN ADD IT FOR 450 SEK/each NO EXTRA SHIPPING COSTS.

Anticipating your questions :)

How many will be produced? We do not know. We will count once almost everybody complete the survey (15-20 days after the end of the campaign). We expect a number around 500, maybe less, maybe more. We cannot predict it.

Can I have the number one? Not possible. Caroline gets the nr.1 and Lorenzo gets the nr.17, the rest will be out in the wild and assigned randomly during shipping.

Can I upgrade my regular RAVN X and have it gilded in metallic red and no seal? Sorry, not possible.

Can I choose the number? Not possible, logistically speaking it would me a mess with high error margin and the fulfillment center will not allow it. 

Can I have it without signatures? Sorry, not possible.

Where will the signatures be? We don't know yet, we will find a nice spot and a good pen that works well on foil and black paper.

How do I specify that I added one? We will use Backerkit which is a backer-management platform connected to Kickstarter. You will be able to specify what and how many items/decks you added when you complete the survey (around end of August). Additional instructions will follow when the time comes.

Can I add RAVN X LTD after the campaign via Backerkit? Yes, you have the privilege of being a kickstarter backer and you can add it after the campaign when you complete the survey. 

Can you sign also RAVN X and/or RAVN blue and red? Not possible. We can sign only the RAVN X LTD. We will receive the flat tuckboxes here in Stockholm, then we send them back to the US once all of them are signed.

Why max 2 RAVN X LTD per backer? Because we would like to keep it limited. We just want to keep some balance among the decks due to production related issues, minimum orders, etc. 

Will RAVN X LTD be sold to retailers? No. Be aware that a retailer can back the campaign and get 2, or 4 (with Sir Ravn reward tier), but it is an unrealistic scenario.

Will S17 and Caroline sell them after delivery on their web-shops? yes, it is possible and for higher price + shipping costs. We always need produce a little more than counted, plus we will get our private reserve that we manage how we desire. A few dozens each, not big numbers.

The split brick becomes 3/3/3/3 configuration? No, the split brick remains 4/4/4 (4 red, 4 blue, 4 ravn X).

Tuckbox inner foil for RAVN X (and RAVN X LTD)

Even if we are at 349% while writing this update, we unlock this stretch goal:

All RAVN X decks and RAVN X LTD will have inner graphics in red foil.

Here is the semifinal design, small tweaks might be made. Reveal card inside the box, on the bottom.

Next Stretch Goal: 400%

Surprise! We are working on something and evaluating a couple of things. We'd like to give some love to the other decks other than RAVN X and RAVN X LTD that got a lot of features.

Stay tuned, we need a little extra time to sort it out.

56th card, RAVNX next upgrade, Contest on Youtube

Hello everybody,

Huge welcome to the new backers! thank you for backing. We suggest to take a quick look at the previous updates, they are very clear and very little text. In this way you can understand how the campaign and the product evolves.

56th card, we listen

Thank you for the great response when we asked for ideas/suggestions for the 56th card. We have been through all of them and the result is a mix of one of the backers idea (Alan) and some adds.  Thank you EVERYBODY!

We also appreciated a couple of out-of-the-box ideas such as toilette paper on the 56th card. 

Here is the 56th card.

RAVN X next upgrade

Next upgrade will be unlocked at 350% funding and it is about inner tuck-box graphics in red foil. We have a couple of proposals, very different from each other.

Idea nr1: the upside-down (got the reference?). Basically the red foil is like the shadow of the graphics on the front. Part of this idea comes from a comment on instagram. 3ninjasfarting wrote: "I would like to see reverse colors inside of everything the outside." Thank you to all the followers&backers who wrote ideas and suggestions... a lot of good ones.

Idea nr2: isometric geometrical chevron pattern. No special meaning here, just decorative purpose.

400% stretch goal unlocked! mini deck upgrade

Hi all!

Finally we unveil the 400% stretch goal, and it is about the mini deck. We hope that this upgrade make you happy. 

The regular mini deck becomes RAVN X MINI. 

It means:

• Backers in mini-deck reward tier will get the RAVN X MINI
• Backers that added a mini deck will get the RAVN X MINI
• Backers in rewards with mini decks will get the RAVN X MINIs 

The Ravn X mini features:

• Soft touch black paper stock for the tuckbox
• Red metallic foil on the tuckbox
• Black foil on the tuckbox
• 54 cards with the same back design as RAVN X of course

Basically the mini version of RAVN X

450% STRETCH GOAL

We want to give some love to the regular decks, and we decided to upgrade the RED and the BLUE with printed graphics inside the tuckbox.

Details will follow when we reach the goal. We think we can make it :)

While we wait for 300% goal,let's talk about the 56th Card

Hi all!

First of all, welcome to the new backers and thank you for backing! the campaign is going very well and we are working on the next stretch goal, which is near.

Meanwhile, please take a look at the previous updates and learn what happened and what are the news.The updates are clear, with little text and a lot of pictures.

Next Stretch Goal: 300%

We are now at 292% funded and next stretch goal will unlock the custom brick boxes.
 I am working (Lorenzo here, at Stockholm17) on the graphics and I hope to be ready before we reach the goal. If not, just a little patience, I am waiting for a sample from the factory that will be photographed and photoshopped.

How it works

All bricks (= set of 12 decks) are called split-bricks. This means that a split brick is composed by 4 Red, 4 Blue, 4 Ravn X (the 4/4/4 configuration).

Every split brick will get the custom brick box without extra costs for the backer. This means that if you have a split brick in your reward, the 12 decks in 4/4/4 configuration will get the custom brick box. If you have 2 bricks, you get 2 boxes, 3 bricks 3 boxes, and so on.

We think it will be possible to add an empty brick box on top of your pledge as a normal add-on. We are working on it.

56th card: let us know your suggestion/idea

The deck is composed by 56 cards and the 2 extra cards are called gaff cards. The 55th card is a "double-backer" (both sides with the back design) and the 56th at the moment is blank, meaning that we did not decide.

We would like to involve the backer and get suggestions/ideas for the 56th card  :)
