Latest Updates from Our Project:

Production resuming soon
about 3 years ago – Fri, Jan 08, 2021 at 11:42:26 PM

Hi all,

first of all, happy new year! We hope you had a nice Christmas break (if any) and we wish you a great 2021.

About RAVN IIII production status, we do not have so many news. USPCC is going to resume production on Monday Jan 11, but we do not know the status of RAVN4 production. We are waiting for an update.

Meanwhile, this is the production status overview.

Brick boxes

We received samples and they are great!

As you can see we got a sample of the mini deck as well, but the tuckboxes of the regular decks are empty. Very happy with the outcome.

The Origin

We would like to introduce this ongoing - and overfunded - kickstarter campaign with amazing packaging design for these gilded decks of cards: The Origin playing Cards

Expect gilding, foiling, lasercutting, special features as 3D-multi-layered lasercut frames, complex cases and brick boxes.

As soon as USPCC gives a completion date, we get back on this project and see what is the schedule for fulfillment. Unfortunately the pandemic slows down everything, so we need to test our patience.

Meanwhile, we wish you a great start

Cheers

More delay ahead, resuming in January
over 3 years ago – Fri, Dec 18, 2020 at 11:37:51 AM

Hi all,

just a quick update to let you know that  USPCC did not complete the decks as scheduled. They are shutting down production on December 18 and resume it on January 11.

This is what they wrote to us:

"Regrettably, the decks are not going to be completed until we resume production in January. Your sheets were on the press schedule to print last week, however, our production teams are spread very thin due to confirmed illnesses or those who are waiting for test results at home. The sheets should print this week, and then our last production day is this Friday Dec 18. We will resume operations Jan 11. COVID has slowed down production in ways we could have never anticipated."

At this point nothing is going to happen in December,  so we will catch up in January.

We wish you a Merry Christmas in advance!

USPCC delay
over 3 years ago – Wed, Dec 02, 2020 at 07:47:58 AM

Hello everybody,

as the completion date was getting closer, we inquired for an update and what we got is even more delay. We understand the situation, and that factories as struggling keeping the production running and on schedule.

Here is the email from USPCC:

"We are working as quickly as we can to get your decks through our production process. I want to be completely transparent with you and let you know the challenges we are facing.

[they tell us a series of problems they are facing about workforce, you can imagine]

With all this, I want to let you know that your project is still a high priority and I am doing all I can to get your job finished as quickly as possible. Your sheets are on the schedule to print week of 12/8, and we can expect the decks to be finished within 2 weeks after that.

We appreciate your patience with our situation. We know everyone is facing difficulties during this time, and we hope by working together, we can make it through it.
PLEASE NOTE:
We are shutdown December 24 through January 11 for SAP Transition, no orders will be taken or shipped during this timeframe."

production status

The math (pessimistic scenario)

  • 8th of December + 2 weeks for cutting and packing = Tuesday 22nd of December
  • +2 days for Packing and Shipping= 24th of December, not gonna happen
  • USPCC closed from Dec 24 all the way to Jan 11
  • Shipping out the 12th of January or even later.
  • +30 days for gilding and shipping 750 decks (gilder is also with limitedout workforce)
  • +1 week to apply seals and box the RAVN X LTD
  • All decks and variants fulfilled by the end of February.

Segmented fulfillment

We will consider a segmented fulfillment in January and ship out the parcels to backers without the Ravn X LTD  (approx 630 backers).

It does not mean what we ship the RAVN X LTD separately, we cannot do that. Unfortunately the backers with the gilded decks (approx 320 backers) need to wait for the gilding.

At this point, we just wait for USPCC to be ready and then we see what to do according to the situation, Christmas holidays and all the issues connected to the pandemic.

Stay tuned, stay safe!

Production update, 750 RavnX signed!
over 3 years ago – Tue, Nov 24, 2020 at 01:55:16 AM

Hi all!

yesterday we signed 750 RavnX LTD decks, and we shipped back so the seal can be applied and the deck can be cello-wrapped.

We are at good point with the production, but expect the fulfillment in January because the delay that USPCC created, will delay the gilding of the decks which takes up to a month to be done.

Here is the production status:
