Hi,

This update is only for to high-tiers international backers with FEDEX tracking number, therefore this update interests you IF:

1. you have a Fedex tracking number

2. Fedex did not deliver yet

3. you are high tier international backer (brick or more).

4. Fedex is about to deliver and demands fees for more than $60

First thing:

Please check the previous update for a general understanding of the Fedex issue that might occour.

We want to write the course of action and the eligibility so we are clear on everything.

IF Fedex wants you to paty more than $60, please do the following:

1. Do not pay immediately and demand the invoice with the fees details

2. Take a picture of the invoice or save a PDF if they send you a PDF.

3. Contact us (button contact project creator) an we take it from there.

4. We will give you a mail address because KS mail does not allow attachements or images, and we will tell you what to do.

Not eligible backers:

You do not have a Fedex tracking number.

Fedex already delivered.

Unfortunately you paid the fees (sorry for that, we got info about this only yesterday).

Fee is low compared to what you pledged for (example: you pledged for $350 and they aak you a 5-10% in taxes and fees, then it is legit).

Notes:

Refunds are not possible, there is nothing we can do once the customs fees and taxes are paid.

We are following up and assist as much as possible. So far we had 2 cases and we hope it stops there.

Important instructions for int. Backers with Fedex

There is a problem with all the international Fedex packages. IF the customs ask you a crazy amount of money (VAT/fees/taxes), DO NOT ACCEPT the parcel and tell Fedex to send it back to the sender. It will be reshipped correctly. — What happened: The retarded software called Shipstation is the one making labels automatically and picks the numbers from Backerkit without converting the currency. So, if the declared value is 500sek (approx $52), the declared value on the Fedex label becomes $500, which is very wrong. — What to do: Do not accept the parcel. Tell Fedex to send it back to sender. Contact us (contact project creator) and we will follow up and give you more instructions.

Update Fedex & USPS packages

Hi all,

we filed a couple of complaints to the fulfillment center because we noticed that some parcels with Fedex and some with USPS were not shipped out as stated.

We believe the fulfillment center created the labels and uploaded the tracking numbers, but the physical package is not ready and the printed labels are waiting for it.

Me & Caroline are on the same boat. Last week we got a Fedex number which is still showing that the label was created and the package did not move. That estimated delivery date is definitely going to change and be recalculated when Fedex picks the packages up.

Yesterday the fulfillment center said "by the end of the day".  Let's see if today something changes.

Shipping update: tracking numbers

Hi all,

finally Backerkit works again, kind of.

• 860 backers are getting an email with the tracking number. Please check spam/junk/promo if you do not see it in the main folder, and remember it is the email address you used for Kickstarter, therefore Backerkit. 
• 96 backers with big pledges are "stuck", meaning that the system does not want to mark them as fulfilled and show the tracking number. We inquired.

Fulfillment complete

Hi all,

shortest update ever!

According to the fulfillment center all the packages have been shipped. Unfortunately their shipping platform could not synch with Backerkit, so no mail with shipping confirmation, yet.

The tracking numbers will be sent via email when the problem is solved and once Neo and Trinity will be removed from the matrix... it’s definitely their fault.

New update hopefully soon
